Creator Guidelines

Becoming a Creator

Any registered user can apply to become a creator. To be approved you must:

• Be at least 18 years old;
• Successfully complete identity verification (see below);
• Agree to the IslaFans Terms of Service and Creator Guidelines;
• Have a valid payout method on file;
• Not be subject to a previous permanent ban on any IslaFans account.

Creator accounts are reviewed before approval. IslaFans reserves the right to decline any application at its sole discretion without obligation to provide a reason.

Identity Verification

All creators must complete identity verification before publishing content or earning revenue. This is a legal requirement — not optional — and exists to protect performers, prevent fraud, and ensure compliance with 18 U.S.C. § 2257.

What verification requires:

• A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID card, or driver's licence). The name on your ID must match the name on your payout account.
• A real-time selfie taken at the time of submission, used to confirm the ID belongs to you.
• A date of birth confirming you are at least 18 years old.

Verification is processed by our third-party identity verification partner. Your documents are handled with heightened security and stored in encrypted form. We retain verification records in accordance with 18 U.S.C. § 2257 requirements.

You may not use someone else's ID, submit altered documents, or misrepresent your identity in any way. Doing so constitutes fraud and results in permanent termination and potential legal action.

Content Rules

As a creator, you are solely responsible for the content you publish. Our full list of allowed and prohibited content is in the Community Guidelines. The key rules for creators are:

You may post:

• Original content you created or own the rights to;
• Content featuring other adults who have given documented, informed consent;
• Explicit adult content on your approved creator profile;
• Content in any format we support — photo, video, audio, text, live stream.

You may never post:

• Content depicting minors in any sexual context — this is a zero-tolerance violation;
• Content featuring anyone without their explicit consent;
• Non-consensual intimate imagery;
• Content you do not own or have a licence to publish (copyright violation);
• Content that sexualises violence, presents assault as consensual, or glorifies real harm;
• Escort solicitations or explicit offers of in-person sexual services.

Age verification for co-performers:

If another person appears in your content in any sexual context, you must have:

• Their signed consent to appear in and be published in that content;
• A copy of their valid government-issued photo ID confirming they are 18 or older;
• Records available for inspection as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2257.

You are responsible for collecting and retaining these records. IslaFans may request documentation at any time and will remove content where verification cannot be confirmed.

Collaborations

Creators may collaborate with other verified IslaFans creators or with external performers.

• All collaborators must be 18 or older and you must hold their age verification records for explicit content.
• Revenue splits for collaborations are agreed between creators directly; IslaFans is not party to those agreements.
• If a collaborator asks IslaFans to remove content featuring them, we may do so. This could affect your published content.
• You may not post content from a collaboration to your profile without the co-creator's consent.

Payouts & Earnings

Creators earn 80% of gross revenue generated through subscriptions, tips, pay-per-view content, and live stream purchases, after payment processor fees. IslaFans retains a platform commission of 20%.

Payout schedule:

Earnings from a given calendar month are paid out within 30 days of that month's close (net-30), provided your balance meets the minimum payout threshold and your payout information is verified and up to date.

Payout methods:

We support bank transfer (ACH for US accounts), international wire transfer, and other methods displayed in your Creator Studio settings. The available methods and processing times vary by country.

Withheld payouts:

IslaFans may withhold or delay a payout where:

• We are investigating a potential policy violation on your account;
• A fan has initiated a chargeback related to your content;
• You have not completed required tax documentation (W-9 or W-8);
• We have received a valid legal hold or court order relating to your funds;
• Your payout method information is incomplete or unverified.

Tax Obligations

Creators on IslaFans are independent contractors, not employees. You are solely responsible for all taxes on your earnings, including federal income tax, self-employment tax, and any applicable state or local taxes.

• US creators: you must submit a completed IRS Form W-9 before your first payout. If you earn over $600 in a calendar year, IslaFans will issue you a Form 1099-NEC.
• Non-US creators: you must submit the appropriate IRS Form W-8 (W-8BEN for individuals, W-8BEN-E for entities). Depending on your country's tax treaty with the US, withholding may apply.
• Failure to submit required tax documentation will delay or block your payouts until the documentation is received.

Account Standing

Maintaining your account in good standing means following these guidelines and our Terms of Service consistently. An account is considered in poor standing when:

• It has received a formal warning for a policy violation in the past 12 months;
• It has had content removed for violations;
• It has an active investigation by Trust & Safety;
• It has an unusually high chargeback or dispute rate;
• Tax documentation is missing or expired.

Creators in poor standing may have features restricted, payout timing delayed, or may be placed on probation pending review. Repeat or serious violations result in permanent termination. Termination for cause forfeits any balance below the minimum payout threshold.

Your Content & IP

You own your content. IslaFans does not claim ownership of anything you upload. By posting on IslaFans, you grant us a limited licence to host, display, and distribute your content to subscribers — and only for that purpose. That licence ends if you delete the content or close your account (subject to retention required by law).

You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe anyone else's intellectual property. If you receive a DMCA takedown notice relating to content on your profile, you may submit a counter-notice. See our Terms of Service (Section 8) for the full DMCA process.

IslaFans will not use your content for advertising, marketing, or any other purpose without your separate, explicit consent.

Fan Relationships

The creator-fan relationship is the heart of IslaFans. We expect creators to:

• Deliver the content or access fans paid for, or issue a refund where delivery is not possible;
• Respond honestly to fans about what your subscription includes before they purchase;
• Not solicit fans to move off-platform for transactions in ways that violate our Terms;
• Respect fans' privacy — do not share fan personal information with third parties;
• Not engage in harassment, manipulation, or pressure tactics toward fans;
• Honour all content you have publicly committed to delivering.

Creators who consistently receive complaints about non-delivery of promised content, misleading subscription descriptions, or fan harassment may have their accounts reviewed and restricted.
