Community Guidelines

Who We Are

IslaFans is a subscription platform built to connect Dominican creators with fans who want to support their work directly. We believe creators deserve full ownership of their content and a fair share of the revenue it generates. We believe fans deserve genuine, direct relationships with the people whose work they love.

IslaFans is an 18+ platform. All users — creators and fans alike — must be at least 18 years old to register and use the Services. We take this requirement seriously and enforce it through identity verification for all creators and age confirmation at registration.

We designed these guidelines to be clear and fair. When content or behaviour falls outside them, we act. When we get something wrong, we have an appeals process. Our goal is a platform that creators trust with their livelihood and fans trust with their time.

What's Allowed

IslaFans supports a wide range of creator content. The following is permitted provided it complies with the rest of these guidelines and our Terms of Service:

• Adult content — sexually explicit photos, videos, and live streams created by and featuring consenting adults aged 18 or over who have completed IslaFans identity verification.
• Fitness, lifestyle & wellness content — workout routines, nutrition guides, behind-the-scenes lifestyle content, vlogs, and personal journals.
• Music, art & creative work — original music, visual art, photography, writing, and other creative output.
• Educational and tutorial content — instructional material across any subject area, provided it complies with these guidelines.
• Gaming, commentary & entertainment — gaming streams, commentary, comedy, and entertainment of all kinds.
• Direct messaging — private, consensual communication between creators and fans, including pay-per-view message content.

All content involving other people — including collaborators who appear in your posts — must be produced with their full, documented consent. You are responsible for obtaining and retaining that consent.

What's Prohibited

The following content and behaviour is strictly prohibited on IslaFans. Violations will result in immediate content removal and may result in permanent account termination and referral to law enforcement.

Content Labeling

When posting content, you are responsible for accurately labeling it. This includes:

• Explicit content: any sexually explicit material must be posted to a profile that has been approved for adult content and must not appear in free preview areas visible to unverified users.
• Third-party appearances: if another person appears in your content, you must have their documented consent and, for explicit content, their age verification records as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2257.
• Promotional content: any content you are paid to post on behalf of a third party (brand deals, promotions) must be clearly disclosed.

Protection of Minors

The safety of minors is our highest priority and admits no exceptions.

• No one under 18 may create an account or access IslaFans content.
• No content may depict minors in a sexual context under any circumstances.
• If content appears to feature a minor, it will be removed immediately and the account will be permanently terminated, regardless of any claimed age.
• All such cases are reported to NCMEC and, where applicable, to law enforcement.
• We maintain age verification records for all creators as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2257. See our 2257 Compliance Statement.

If you encounter any content that you believe depicts a minor, please report it immediately using the in-app report tool or by emailing safety@islafans.com.

How We Enforce These Guidelines

IslaFans enforces these guidelines through a combination of automated detection, user reports, and human review. Our Trust & Safety team reviews flagged content and accounts.

Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, we may take one or more of the following actions:

• Content removal — we remove the specific violating post, video, or message.
• Warning — for first or minor violations, we issue a formal warning and an explanation of the policy breached.
• Temporary suspension — the account is suspended for a defined period, during which it cannot post or earn.
• Permanent termination — the account is permanently closed. This is used for severe or repeated violations, and for all zero-tolerance violations.
• Legal referral — we refer the case to law enforcement or NCMEC where the content is illegal.

Creators whose accounts are terminated for policy violations forfeit any unpaid balance below the minimum payout threshold. Balances above that threshold may be withheld pending investigation.

Reporting a Violation

You can report any content or account you believe violates these guidelines directly from the platform using the “Report” button on any post, profile, or message. Reports are reviewed by our Trust & Safety team.

For urgent matters — particularly anything involving suspected minors in sexual content or active threats of harm — contact us directly:

Reports are treated confidentially. We do not disclose who filed a report to the reported account. False or malicious reports made in bad faith may result in action against the reporting account.

Appeals

If you believe enforcement action was taken against your account in error, you may appeal within 30 days of receiving the notice. To submit an appeal, email appeals@islafans.com with your account details and a clear explanation of why you believe the action was incorrect.

Appeals are reviewed by a member of our Trust & Safety team who was not involved in the original decision. We aim to respond to all appeals within 5 business days. Our decision on appeal is final for zero-tolerance violations.
