The platform is fully built and operating in private beta — recurring subscriptions via CCBill and Segpay (with NOWPayments for crypto), pay-per-view content, live streaming, private messaging with tipping, ID + selfie identity verification, and multi-rail payouts via Wise, Payoneer, and Paysend are undergoing final pre-launch validation ahead of the August 2026 public launch.
The core insight is simple: Dominican creators produce content consumed by tens of millions of people, but the existing creator platforms fail them at the most critical step — getting paid. Over 70% of creators in the DR are unbanked or underbanked, making international payout rails inaccessible. IslaFans solves this with a multi-rail payout infrastructure, culminating in a Caribe Express integration launching Q3 2026 that will allow creators to receive same-day Dominican Peso payouts at 400+ branches across the DR — no bank account required.
The business model is a straightforward 20% platform take on all revenue streams — subscriptions, PPV, tips, live stream purchases, and paid messages. The platform targets $1.04M in annual revenue at Month 24 on $5.2M GMV, growing from an anchor creator cohort of 20–50 verified DR creators in Year 1 to 5,000 active creators and 220,000 subscribers across the US and EU by Month 24.
